How do you remove or even just move the dotted lines or solid lines from Layout views? I can't seem to move them, drag them to the trash or anything.

what version?
The black lines should be able to be grabbed and moved to trash.
The cyan lines are guides that cannot be removed but do not print. You can 'hide guides' if you don't want to see them.

LW6. Yeah, not guide lines or the margins lines. I've somehow got 2 dotted lines and a solid line on the far right. I figured I should be able to drag them to the trash, or between columns. I can't do anything with them.

Yes, grabbing them by the top part that's in the header row area and dragging them to the trash can icon in the top left corner of the layout window is the way to get rid of them. Try zooming in so they're easier to grab.
