Hello,
I am in a venue that has dimmer racks that have been re-wired using the old dimmer numbers to match the old phasing, as a result its non continuous accross a rack. The dimmers are patched so the dimmer number matches the address.
The dimmer numbers jump around every 4 breakers. I cant see a way to set a dimmer number non consectively, the dimmer column in rack setup appears to not be editable.
I did think about just making 1 circuit name for all racks and using the circuit number as the real dimmer number, but the mapping of this again would be quite a task.
Main reason for this is that the hard power for fixtures is using the dimmer number for reference for the plugging, the unit also has its dmx control information in the address column so address column is not an option. The loading of the racks is also required, so cant see a good method of linking this all easily.
Dan
