Hey Guys, LW newbie here; my question are basically related to mover power. Below there is a picture of my VW system label. In that layout on the bottom of the fixture: Channel: 101, 301 1201 etc. Circuit Name: ML1, ML2 ML25 etc. Circuit number: 1 thru 6 (using 6 L620 circuits per breakout/cable). I am ok in VW but, does this work when exporting and exchanging to the the xml file so everything falls in to place(including load)??Also, please keep in mind that each ML# is the circuit name and 1 thru 6 are always the circuit of each ML which ideally after doing it in VW should show in order on LW for for the book.
In dimming and control I am setting 48 way racks (3 per system in this case) so, if I do: Service: A Rack label: PD1 Type: MLpower Rack Size:48 Start#: 1 End#:48 Volts: 208 where you find: ML1-1 ML1-2 ML1-3 ML1-4 ML1-5 ML1-6.....all the way to ML8-6 But if I need to set up PD2 (ML9 THRU ML16) the same way in dimming and control, Do I have to start on 49 or can I start again in 1 since the rack/PD name changes? it looks like overloads the circuits if you do. My last question is, trying it the way I mentioned on LW layout doing MLs starting on ML1, the LW layout is showing of in the order, how can I correct that? or, am I doing it right?
Again, I am new with the software and I am trying to get the most with date exchange. Any help is greatly appreciated. thx!

This is how I deal with that. I use dimmer 1-100 for dimmers (don't usually have more conventionals than that any more), Then my Distros, I use dimmer 101-XX for rack 1, 201-xx for rack 2, etc... This makes it easy to quickly identity what rack a circuit goes to, and I don't have to do math the figure out the breaker number. Example, if I have 2 48way distros, and number them 1-48, 49-96, If I have something hooked up to dimmer 55, I have to convert that to realize that that is breaker 6 on rack 2, whereas in my system, it would be dimmer 206, so I immediately know what breaker and rack it is. Then in the circuit name maintenance list, you can tell LW what rack each multi is in, and give it a starting number, then it will auto populate the dimmer number in your instrument. Whats great about that is when you start balancing you load, you can change the circuit number and it will automatically update you dimmer number as well.
I hope this helps.
