Hello, I recently switched from LW5 to LW6. When I enter data into the LW Address field, it comes into VW in the Dimmer field. But in a different show file (different VW and LW) it works perfectly. I must be missing something in Spotlight Prefs or Data Exchange Prefs. Help please!
When I used LW5, I would use LW Dimmer for for addresses and LW Circuit# for conventionals.

It sounds like the mapping between Lightwright and Vectorworks is set incorrectly. In Lightwright, be sure that Lightwright's Address field doesn't map to the Vectorworks Dimmer field.
And in Lightwright 6, you don't use the LW dimmer field for addresses, that's what the LW Address columns are for - unless you're in Legacy mode, in which case there are no address features and it works the same as in LW5 - which is definitely much more limited.

If you can't get it to work, file a bug report at www.mckernon.com and attach both the .lw6 and .vwx files, and explain which lights on the worksheet are getting incorrect data.

Thanks John! I followed your suggestion and also had to delete my .XML; but it works fine now. Thank you!
