Hi,
I was wondering whether anyone can shed some light please. I read in the manual that you can select in the Save Options to save your focus pictures (in our case photos) separately to your LW6 file, to help decrease file size. This would be excellent news for us, because of how unwieldy and large our LW6 files get.
I have successfully done this by selecting that option, and sure enough, in the same folder with the original LW6 file I can see a .lw6pix file, which is the size of the original LW6 file, minus the size of the LW6 file pre-focus plotting, when a hundred or so photos get added to it.
However, the original LW6 file is still the same size as before I opted to save the focus pictures separately, and so hasn't seemed to have decreased in size at all, and certainly not by the amount of KB that the photos occupy. Am I misunderstanding how this feature works? Should the original LW6 file decrease in size once this option has been selected? Or have I gone about this in the wrong way? I had a look in the manual, and couldn't find much more info than what the Save Options does...
Thanks! Nadene Wheatley

There was a bug on this that I hopefully fixed for the next beta release, but I'd like to make sure. Could you please post a bug report on this? Include the copy of the .lw6 file with the pictures in it (not separately). To file the bug report, go to www.mckernon.com and choose the Report a Bug option on the Support menu.
