Hello all, just joined and asking my first question hoping to not look like an idiot.
I like the LW6 Console Link ability with the ETC line and find it really nice to be able to turn on lights from LW and mark their focus status. My problem is, when we focus we usual work on multiple positions at once that aren't next to each other in LW. Especially with the slow scrolling of LW6 on my MacBook Pro 2011 (not sure if it's normal or because my computer is old) it is difficult to switch between positions and I usually just end up dropping LW and going to my iRFR and paper. Is it possible to open multiple windows or columns so you can look at 2 or 3 positions at the same time in different places? Is there a better way to do this? Thanks!
Bret

No, there aren't any ways to get multiple positions next to each other.
I'd set Bookmarks on the fly. Each time you go to a new position, set a bookmark (replacing a position you're done with as needed). Bookmarks include scroll position of the current view, so it's easy to jump back and forth.
Not sure why your MBP is scrolling slowly, mine moves really fast. Are you using up/down arrows? If so, try scroll up/down with two fingers on your trackpad, or flick up/down with two fingers, that moves really fast.

Been a while since I looked back for a response. Didn't know about bookmarks, that will work great (not quite as well but pretty close).
As for scrolling, I am using the mouse scroll as suggested. I have always found Lightwright (4, 5, and 6) to be a little laggy on my computer when scrolling. It might be the age of my computer but I know I have seen the issue on other computers. With bookmarks though that won't be an issue.
Thanks!

I have also seen the scrolling to be an issue on older computers...I upgraded and it helped immensley. Sadly, LW really needs a more powerful machine to run smoothly.
Are you using a Mac?
