The ETC sensor racks have 2 DMX inputs. They allow for universe splitting in the CEM.
It makes it much easier to identify a dimmer or patch. Rack 5 dimmer 501 Rack 6 dimmer 601

You can enter the address numbers in universe format, Lightwright doesn't care. Just be sure you have enough universes defined in Setup/Dimming & Control/Universes tab.

Right...I keep forgetting about the double input on the ETC rack. Doesn't usually come up in my shows.
That does bring up another question, though.
In Setup for Dimmers, I do enter the addresses in Universe format as John mentions. But when I create Rack Labels, the "Starting Dimmer" field comes up in Absolute format. (So a Rack that I set to 2/1 comes up as "513" on the Label) Any way to force the label to use Universe format?

You could just use the address field?

You could just use the address field? Kev Not if I'm using the Dimmer List as my data source. Address isn't an option, only Starting Dimmer.

OK gotcha
I guess I tend to almost always use the worksheet as my source. Then I can see exactly what order I am putting things in.

How do you notate the part 1s as different from the separate cables needed to make up the part 1s? I'm hoping the way to do it is to put: MLA1 100'+25',50',25' Assuming you're using LW6, enter the "MLA1" as a name on a row in Circuit Name maintenance, then put "100'+25',50',25'" into the row's Cable column. Then when you count, include maintenance list rows, and Lightwright will count those cable pieces as belonging to MLA1. At the moment, there's a bug when you count maintenance list rows broken down by position, that's fixed in the next build of 6.0.5.
