It would be great to have the ability to make a user field an automatic data lookup field such that I could define an action such as (in Excel syntax) =CONCATENATE([Circuit_Name], "-", [Circuit_Number])
The purpose is to better re-format data to better play nice with label legends in vwx without having to manually manage circuit updates in two locations.

This is already extremely useful in the Univ/Add and Position/Unit Number merged field displays, but I agree it would be nice to have this flexibility throughout the program to reference 'stock fields' within user fields.
I have also found a specific use case for this, to allow me to utilize different layout and formatting of user fields in labels that don't impact the data formatting that others may be using, mine is also specifically in the circuit name field, but I imagine others where this base-level functionality could be useful. This specific example: a colleague insists on naming their circuit numbers for the cable with circuit name "A" as "A1", "A2", "A3", etc. In an effort to not change their workflow, I would love to renumber the fields properly Cir. Name "A" and Cir Num 1-6, however, it will impact them to not have a field that outputs A1-A6 directly for interactions with outside programs via the LW data export. Allowing for a user field that lets me combine Cir Name and Cir Num (for this example), would prevent me from duplicating data manually.
