Hi, I'm new to this and trying it for the first time on my current show, so apologies if the answer is rather simple. I'm at the point where I'm entering DIMMER info into Vectorworks, in our venue we have Hot power outlets for LED/Non dim fixtures labelled for example SR1, when I input this into the dimmer in Vectorworks it is displayed fine, however in Lightwright it doesn't. It either just displays the first character, in this case S, or nothing at all. I appreciate my input involves letters instead of numbers, could this be the issue and if so how can I combat this? I was thinking of just creating a custom Column and adding Hot power Outlet allocations to this however can not seem to find a way of doing this either? Thanks, Liam.

You can only have a single letter prefix. Consider R instead of SR. You can't "add" columns but you can rename the User Field columns.
Here are the guidelines for Dimmer naming/numbering from the manual: Whole numbers: 1, 3000, 1000000 Single letter prefix A-Z: N400, H12, Z52 Single letter suffix A-Z: 400N, 3C
Letter prefixes should generally be used for things like non-dims or hot pockets. Decimal number suffixes are normally used for moving light attributes. Dimmer numbers cannot have a decimal number suffix. Dimmer capacities and instrument wattages can be entered in either watts or amps. To accommodate this, the wattage column is called “load.” Typically, conventional lights will use watts, while moving lights use amps. Examples of illegal numbers: N400C, B3.2
