Is there a way of setting up conditional coloring for label elements so they color based on whether or not a field has *any text* in it at all? I have fields for 2 kinds of power cable and I'd like to stack them on my label, so you can see what lengths I need for my breakouts. But there's no way of knowing which kind of cable is needed, without a static text preface that disappears when that kind of cable field is empty. e.g. Chan 101 is a 5' True1 power cable, Chan 201 is a 10' L6-20. I'd like the label for (101) to look like this "(101) True1: 5'" and the label for (201) to look like this: "(201) L6-20: 10'". Currently, I can get labels that say "(101) 5'" and "(201) 10'" but can't tell the cable type. I need a static text field that says "True1:" that is invisible unless the True1 field has text in it. Is this possible? Is there a "wildcard" character I can use to represent any text in conditional coloring? Attachments:

Are you using a different column for each type of cable?
If so click on the settings icon on the left (the one that looks like a sprocket) and select "Include Field Name" and "Omit when empty"

hi Nik, My data for the two cable types is indeed in different columns. The data is in the format of length and needed adapters for that cable type (e.g. an entry in the True1 column might be "2fer + 10'"). The portion of my label which describes what kind of cable the length is referring to is static text (e.g. "True1"), and is not referencing any columns/fields in the LW. As a result, I don't think your comment addresses my question. Is there a way to use a wild card character to indicate a conditional color for a label field that is activated whenever a field contains *any* data?

You can eliminate the static text altogether by using the "Include field name" options. As long as the name of your column/field is the name of your cable type you're all set.
