Hi Folks,
Very odd questions for a relatively niche situation. Does anyone know of a way to include multiple fixture on the same label - in essence a case label containing the fixtures and circuit hookup information for them.
The situation: As a production company we work in some venues with 30 minute install times and so have developed a lighting stand that is actually a 6-way lantern trunk that has a bit of scaff and T-bar pop out the top. The case then just gets rolled into position, fixtures rigged on the T-bar and soccas linked between each case. In my paperwork each case is a position so what im looking to do is print a label for the case with all the fixtures in that position with the socca way / purpose / gel etc
Is this something anyone knows how to do?
Ben

Hi Ben, keep your labels as they are now, but just use a different label size in your printer. All fixture labels will be send to the printer as one by one, but they get printed on the label size you want for your case. Does that make sense to you?

Honestly we usually deal with this as an export to Excel or Filemaker. We make a column in LW that is a Box number or a position for the sort. Then we can take advantage of the size of a 1/2 sheet label.
Just because LW can do labels...it's not always the best thing to use!
But exporting and sorting can usually be done in LW easily.
Hope this helps
