Hello, Yes I upgraded to Catalina prior to the realization that LW6 would not function properly in the new OS bit format. I've downloaded and installed the LW6 beta file but am unable to get the beta to accept my LW6 registration as active. Do I need to request a new activation code? Thanks so much.

Your approval code probably expired. Beginning with Lightwright 6, approval codes expire once a year, on a month of your choosing. Renewals are free. This was a much-demanded feature that schools and other organizations wanted to help them keep track of who is using their licenses. You do not need to re-register, just get a new approval code. Also, around the beginning of each month, I automatically generate new approval codes for anyone who hasn’t renewed yet. Those are emailed to each user. So if a new approval code gets emailed to you but you fail to notice it and the web site app says it’s already been renewed, then just ask for a copy of your registration info. You can get a renewal approval code by going to www.mckernon.com and clicking the "Renew Your LW6 Approval Code” button. Enter your serial number, and a new approval code will be immediately emailed to the contact person on file (there is no delay). Once you have the new approval code, make sure you’re logged on as a user with Admin status, then launch Lightwright, go to Preferences/Registration, and replace your current approval code with the new one, and click Save.
