Hi everyone. I purchased the software this week and I need a little assistance. Is there any way to get info off of the ETC Eos (ion) and import it to Lightwright 6? Not just patch info. Fixture info, cues, anything else pertinent. I know I will have to input everything if this isn't possible so if there is a way to avoid that it would greatly help.
I should say that under export in eos, it has options but not lightwright. It does offer that under import, though.
Thanks everyone for your help!
I should add that I am using a MacBook Pro with LW6.

Console Link will get you the cues and groups, it can also compare the Lightwright patch with what's in Eos. Check out "Console Link" in Lightwright's Reference Manual (available in the Help menu).

Thanks for replying. I have tried the compare but it says I have no patch list lightwright so it won’t bring them over. Any ideas? I will look at the groups option.

Normally, you assign addresses and choose fixture profiles in Lightwright, then export a special file for Eos, and open it in Eos to get the patch. The compare feature tells you where they're different. Unless Lightwright can match up channels and addresses coming in, it can't do much. I'd suggest filing a bug report at www.mckernon.com and attach both the .esf and .lw6 files to the report.
