Hello,
Wondering if anyone has figured out to populate a list of which cables are going into which boxes and then be able to print a list of each box with what it has in it? i.e. Box 22 has 2Z, 1 of 2 and 2 of 2, 2AA 1 of 2 and 2 of 2, etc.

This is the reason I do not use the cable field for labeled cable. From what I can see you cannot organize it like that, you only get which piece it is.

With some success. Create a column that is called "Box #". Sort by circuit name. Give each Circuit name a box number. Circuit 1a is box# 45. If your doing it in worksheet only fill the box number on the first circuit so that you don't have a repeat number on your other 5 circuits. then sort by box number. If your doing this in Maintenance then put the "box #"column in there and then put your box number in for each circuit name. Then print when your in the maintenance window. You can organize the printed report to just show the box and circuit name on the report. Hope this helps. - Justin Freeman

What about when circuit 1a part 1 is in a loom in its own box and circuit 1a part 2 is in a different box?

That's a major reason why I don't use LW for labeling trunk lines. It's just not setup to organize packs and such, yet.

Well, putting the Box# on a Trunk Line label is the simple part. Use a comma in the Box# column to indicate a different entry for each part.
So for Circuit 1a the Cable column reads "100' Socapex, 75' Socapex, 25' Socapex" and the Box # column could read "C-13, L-56, L-56" When you print the labels for 1a, Part 1 will be 100' Socapex Box C-13, Part 2: 75' Socapex Box L-56, Part 3: 25' Socapex Box L-56.
From there, if you View ---> Box#, choose L-56 and sort by Circuit Name you'd see 1a, but not the parts....
I'm going to have to puzzle on this a little more.
