Hello everybody, i was thinking of misusing the label creator to create labels for my dimmerracks/ MLracks. Is there any way to define a label where under one dimmerchannel ID all the fixures will be listed who are connected to this dimmerchannel even if they have different CH Ids ? like this? DimmerCH 102 DimmerCH 103 DimmerCH 104 #79 #23 #25 #102 #72
Thank you!

That's not a misuse at all. I always print out labels for my ML racks. (not the dimmer racks, though. I find it easier to print out a Dimmer Hookup and leave it in the rack.)
At any rate, here's how I deal with multiple fixtures on one breaker.
Create a User field called Shared Channel
For each fixture sharing a breaker, use point numbers for the circuits. (8, 8.2, 8.3....) LW will group them all into the same dimmer/breaker.
In the first fixture on each circuit, manually enter the channel numbers of any other fixtures on that breaker. So in your example above, Channel (79) would list (102) and (72) as Shared Channels.
Be sure to place a Shared Channel field on your rack label.
When printing your labels, set a limit that hides any fixtures with a decimal after the circuit number.
Does that all make sense?

Any chance you'd share a photo of your label? I think I understand. Want to use something similar for my decoders

I can do that, will probably be some time tomorrow before I get a chance to do it. [EDIT]: Ok, I finally got a chance to make a PDF of my Breaker Labels. One bit of explanation: I use the same size label for everything (keeps my ordering simple). The label I use is too big for Breakers, so I drew a line down the middle and left the right half blank. When applying, my guys either overlap the blank half or cut them off, as they see fit. Breaker Labels.pdf (62.83 KB)
