Hello. I work in a venue with installed racks, and installed raceways. The raceways are nicely labeled and the facility is dimmer per ckt. I am trying to create a base dimming LW file that maintains active/spare of dimmers and circuits. I have currently listed each "Circuit Name" to match the ETC Arch drawings and I like the fact the system matches the as builts, I need a better way of referencing the Circuit numbers. Is there a way to link "Circuit Number" to "Dimmer Number"? See attached photos... I am sure I am over complicating this, please share any thoughts or suggestions. Thanks, Brian

I think you've got it.... when you link the circuit name to a number. Then it should input the dimmer for you when you input the circuit name and number. We use this for PD racks that have no patch bay. Saves a lot of counting.
Your circuit names have to match and your circuit numbers must fall in the circuit # range.
But I am afraid I think it only works if you input the Circuit name and it will fill in the dimmer number. Not the other way around. The exclamation point in the yellow triangle in the dimmer cell should change to 2 chain links....
Hope that helps

Yes, changing the circuit name and # will change the dimmer number, but not the other way around - because in the real world, unplugging a light from one circuit and plugging it into another changes the dimmer number.
