Good morning John,
I want to export VW2017 data to LW6. I need only the x and y locations of units. In VW Spotlight preferences I select only the channel number to export, knowing that X,Y data are exported automatically.
I set the worksheet columns in LW6 for only those parameters: Channel / X Coordinate / Y Coordinate.
In column selection dialogue box the VW X&Y Coordinates rows show the the small “i” icon to the right indicates that there is data present.
This is the link to the result:

The red dashed lines in the x and y columns seem to say that “someone else” has deleted the data in those columns.
Something is funny here. Can you explain?
macOS Sierra Version 10.12.6 (16G29) VW application version: 2017 SP4 (Build 373796) (64-Bit) LW Version 6.0.12.151
Thanks RP

Please file a Lightwright bug report (you can categorize it as a question) via the link at www.mckernon.com, and attach your .png (it doesn't show up on this site) plus the .lw6 file that you took the screen shot from. - John

I need the .vwx and the .lw6 files, plus the .png in order to know. Links to files aren't preserved on posts here, so there's no way to see the png. Please file a bug report at www.mckernon.com and attach the files (preferably all in one zipped folder) to your bug report.

For any one reading this later, we figured out that in order for the x/y coordinates from VW to display in LW, the instruments MUST have a position assigned. Simple fix!
