I'm unable to open any saved files. I just get a "Sorry! "xxx.lw5" is not readable, so Lightwright cannot open it."
Never had this problem before and we're not trying anything new. I can open the software but even opening from file>open isn't working.
Also it's the first day of tech, because that's how this sort of thing always goes.

It sounds like the file has its permissions set so you can't use it. On Windows, right-click the file and look at its properties, check the Read/Write privileges and make sure you have read/write. On the Mac, Select it and choose Apple Menu/Get Info, look at permissions and fix them as needed. Also while you're there on either platform, check the file size and make sure it's over 200 bytes. Anything less than that means the file is damaged and empty.

Thanks for the response!
The permission was my first guess, all that is kosher. The file size is a great piece of info but they all check out. I have a call out to our IT, I'm starting to think it's an internal server issue that is only effecting my LW files, weird.
I did reset all the permissions, reinstall the software, and used multiple workstations
